Why was Qualungeta created?
A more peaceful and just society does not happen by chance. It emerges when people have the opportunity to grow, collaborate, and better understand themselves and the world around them.
We all live with fears, desires, selfishness, envy, and difficulties that often distance us from others. That is why simply asking people to change is not enough.
People do not change because we ask them to. They change when their environment makes change possible.
Qualungeta* was created with precisely this goal: to change that environment and create tools that help people replace their basic instincts with respect, mutual support, empathy, collaboration, knowledge, a deeper understanding of the world around them, and mutual trust.
* Qualungeta is the name given to planet Earth (as described in the book) within the new system. It encompasses water (acqua), animals, light, the Moon (luna), nature, vegetation, and air, symbolizing respect for everything around us.

How We Want to Achieve It
Good intentions alone are not enough. To build a more peaceful, collaborative, and respectful society, we need practical tools. That is why Qualungeta is developing three main areas:

- Their purpose is to circulate goods and services at no cost, gradually reducing the use of money, giving products a new life and restoring their true value. In this way, we can reduce the extraction of raw materials and pollution while bringing people closer together and rebuilding the bonds that the modern world has slowly worn away.
Business Acquisitions and Management
- This area aims to prevent companies—and therefore people—from losing their jobs, helping them remain free from fear while also enabling businesses to stay competitive and giving people a greater sense of security and peace of mind.
Education and Information Group
- Its purpose is to foster the continuous growth of every individual, without exception, by promoting fundamental values such as culture, respect, empathy, critical thinking, Cupiamia*, love, care for others, as well as knowledge of what is happening in the world and in one’s own country, and the strength to stand up for what matters.
* Cupiamia (a new word introduced in the book) replaces desire, which wears people down. Cupiamia is a combination of curiosity, benevolent passion, enjoyment (piacere), the desire to improve (migliorare ) and better oneself, empathy (empatia), and playfulness.
